Humanity Vs Animal-ism

I don't know much about blogging, but I thought it to be a really good medium for expressing my take on normal incidents in life, which we think as normal, but, each one encapsulates within itself the complexities that are rather unbelievable.
I recently happened to visit Kanha-Kisli National Park. The beauty of dense forest in middle of nowhere(M.P. doesn't sound much green place), the untouched natural beauty was beautiful enough to make any nature to go "WAOOOOO". The bamboo and teak trees, with little vegetation growing everywhere, with a weird excitement of getting to watch one of the 130 odd tigers in the wild, The guide explaining each of the technical details like 972 sq km core area and 1030 sq km Buffer zone, with common sightings of spotted deer, bisons, peacocks, monkeys, n who can forget wild cock (Local name was Kadhaknath, please don't laugh :P).
We were really enjoying the lush green forests, with voices unheard of, suddenly appeared the Big catch out of no where. Yes! A tigress indeed, fully grown 9 meters wide tigress, with the "King of the Jungle" like attitude, Having no worries about anything or anyone. We soon lost track of it, soon enough not to be able to take any picture of it. When its view vanished, we again became conscious of our surroundings which have been entirely changed. There was no sweet chirping of birds anymore, rather, the environment was filled with "distress signals/sounds" of spotted deer, shouting of monkeys and exasperation of birds, every animal conscious of the presence of its predator lurking around, and then i saw something which really astonished me. Seeing their predator around, each and every animal not saving its own life, but rather alerting every other herbivore in the process. this bonding among birds, small animals, and even gigantic animals like bison, really made me to think that if this is the scenario, animals, categorized by their eating habits, are much more civilized than so called "social animals". I live in New Delhi and I am quite convinced that if i am in need, I would be the last person to expect help coming out of "strangers". Leave this help issue, The most striking fact is that here predator would not be any single "King of the jungle" but those who live within us. With the commencement of the "materialistic" word in this world, humanity is definitely lost. People are the grifters who arrange all kinds of hustle to get paid at price of others. With so many divisions we have done to divide ourselves, be it caste, creed, race, color, ethnicity, status, power, approach etc. You name it, and you will find the division among people in that particular field. Humanity has definitely been eroded below the animal-ism, World is running for these Green notes and seldom, anyone seems to be really interested in anything but money. I happened to see a movie where a guy living with his parents after he has got job is been looked upon as "Abnormal". We can just wonder where this loss of morale values would take as afterall. I still think of a subject MSc (Moral Science) which we used to have in our primary school. I wonder what would be my response to the contents of this book would be now. Perhaps sarcastic dry laugh, or just three words of the slang What The F***? Is this what we percieve as humanity, if we do,then perhaps we need to think about it. In the jungle, this very thought kept me occupied for the rest of our way out. Would I prefer being called as a human wid low maral values rather than a full fledged Animal. Is this the downfall of humanity or rise of Animal-ism. I don't know. I don't wanna know. May be I am scared of truth. The truth, which I don't want to know, because it is not pleasant. I am happy with the shell I have created around me, Which I don't want to break into. I am happy being the person I am, I resist any changes, May be I am not Just myself, but rather a true representative of human race, who have long lost the defination of humane, who despise any lizard, altough they know, that no Indian lizard is poisonous, who just despise any animal, who despise law of nature, who are born rebels. Hail humanity, Hail power. I wonder how can these "Humans" torch bearer of humanity, kill these anymals just for "Fun" or "Monitary gains". I know, they havnt ever seen the deep beautiful, innocent and pure eyes of these animals. I still hae hopes in my heart, perhaps a day would come, when we would again be torch bearer of humanity, Humanity towards fellow humans, humanity towards "inferior" animals. When Humanity and Animal-ism would co-exist, and the difference would cease to exist. a morning would come that would bring change.A morning would come.A beautiful sun-lit winter Morning.
